Fossil Bluff was one of the places I had to forecast for in the Antarctic. This photo shows the hut here. Fossil Bluff is effectively a small aircraft refuelling depot around 90 minutes flying time from where I was working in Rothera. Between 2 and 4 people can stay here quite comfortably, which is just as well because it needs to be manned in the summer!
