Sky Blu again. The plane in the picture is a Dash 7 which the British Antarctic Survey used to ferry supplies and personnel between the Falkland Islands and Rothera Research Station and to ferry fuel between Rothera and Sky Blu. This fuel then gets used by smaller ski planes going deeper into the field to do research and aerial photography. The picture shows empty fuel drums being loaded. The peaks in the background are 25km away.
