Leonie Island and the mountains behind taken from Rothera base. Leonie Island is little more than a mountain sticking out of the sea near Rothera. It's about 8-9km (5-6 miles) away and about 1500 feet (500m) high. The mountains behind are about 3500-4000 feet (1000-1300m) high.
